Tools menu to use diagnostic tools if communication problems occur between your LANCOM R&S®Unified Firewall and other devices .
Use the diagnostic tools to verify whether your LANCOM R&S®Unified Firewall can communicate with a computer or other device with a specific network address (ping), or to trace a message´s route through the network (traceroute).
Important:
To allow diagnostic analysis between zones, a firewall rule with the ICMP protocol or the ICMP Ping application has to be active in the corresponding direction.
