Sending SMS text messages with LANmonitor

The following section explains how you can use LANmonitor to send SMS text messages via a 3G/4G WWAN-enabled device.

Start LANmonitor and navigate to the menu tree of the respective device under SMS messages.
Open the context menu on the entry and select Send message.
In the Editor window that opens, enter the phone number of the recipient and the message content to be sent.
The number of characters is limited to one SMS text message (max. 160 characters). For an overview of available characters, see the section Character set for sending SMS.
Click Send to send the message via the internal SMS module.
