Local SIP subscribers can only register using the domains that are known. The subscribers authenticate themselves at the local R&S®NC VoIP router with their user name and password. This excludes domains that correspond to an upstream SIP PBX. These registrations are authenticated at the upstream SIP PBX.
If a subscriber tries to register with an unknown domain, then this may be accepted as a local registration.
