The following requirements must be met before you can use the LANCOM Content Filter:
- The LANCOM Content Filter option has been activated.
- The firewall must be activated and an appropriate firewall rule must select the content filter profile.
- The content filter profile must specify a category profile and if desired a whitelist and
or blacklist for each part of the day. A content filter profile can consist of several
different entries to provide different levels of protection during different parts of the
day.
- If a certain part of the day is not covered by an entry, access to websites will go unchecked for this period.
Note: If the content filter profile is subsequently renamed, the firewall must also be modified.
