Power Supply

COM-Port
- Serial interface, 8-pin mini DIN
A configuration cable can be used to upload firmware via the serial interface - Supports the internal COM-port server
- COM-port forwarding directly connects a computer to the router and can be used to operate serial devices over IP
- Backup connection: Connection of an analog/GPRS modem to the COM port
Reset
- Configurable reset switch for resetting and booting the device
- 2 reset memory spaces for alternative boot configurations (custom settings/factory settings)

The Gigabit Ethernet switch provides energy-efficient features as per 802.3az to reduce power consumption when interfaces are inactive - Each port can be configured as follows: LAN, WAN, DMZ, monitor port, off
