External RADIUS server

By default the WLAN controller forwards any requests relating to the account and access management to a RADIUS server. In order for access points to contact the RADIUS server directly, the necessary server information has to be defined here. This ensures that the RADIUS application continues to function even if the WLAN controller is unavailable. However, this means that the RADIUS server requires settings for each and every access point, and the managed access points must be able to access the RADIUS server from their management network. If the RADIUS server is on another IP network, then it is vital that the gateway is set in the IP parameter profile.
