Authentication

Various options are available to log on to the LANCOM's administration interface:

Internal: The LANCOM manages the users internally in the table Setup > Config > Admins.
Radius: A RADIUS server handles user management.
Tacacs+: A TACACS+ server handles user management.

Note: The data relating to the RADIUS server is managed under Setup > Config > RADIUS > Server. The data relating to the TACACS+ server is managed under Setup > Tacacs+ > Server.

Note: Since the RADIUS protocol does not allow for password changes, users who have logged in via RADIUS cannot change their password in the LANCOM.
