2.4-GHz and 5-GHz wireless networks are supported in parallel, enabling the LANCOM L-315agn dual Wireless access point to operate both networks simultaneously. Power consumption is compliant with IEEE 802.3af even with both radio modules operating simultaneously (1x IEEE 802.11abg, 1x IEEE 802.11abgn). The access point features WPA2 encryption for WLAN security. The standard IEEE 802.11n and the integrated MIMO antenna provide net data rates of up to 130Mbps in the 5-GHz frequency band. Technologies such as VLAN and Multi SSID enable different user groups to be securely separated. The LANCOM L-315agn dual Wireless is also suitable for point-to-multipoint applications and for operation as a bridge.
